Your FAQ is not clear on this, the vas is really ‘cut’ in the middle and with both ends attached to the Bimek SLV ? What happens with the sperm cells created in the testicles in the ‘blocked’ position? Are they simply ‘blocked off’ ? Or can they flow freely in the scrotum like in a normal open ended vasectomy ? Were there any studies done related to the part of the vas that’s now ‘dry’ ? Will this work again directly after re-opening the valve ? How long is the trajectory inside the device that is ‘mechanical’ and does not have the peristaltic function like the vas has ?
