I am trying to visualize how this device is actually installed and how it blocks the duct.
Does it simply apply pressure to close off the intact duct? If that is the case, how does the duct get into the device?
Or does the duct have to be cut in order to be put into the device? If that is the case, how is peristalsis achieved within the device? And is there a risk of scarring as a result of the cut?
